Musicians across Canada are signing up online and playing music to raise money for children whose lives have been torn apart by war.

Money collected at each site, and through online donations, will support War Child, an award winning charity that provides humanitarian assistance to children and families affected by war.

Busking for Change was inspired by Raine Maida of Our Lady Peace, who spent twelve hours busking for War Child on the streets of Toronto in October, 2007. Last year musicians in Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver took to the streets to help us raise over $100,000 for war affected children in some of the most devastated regions of the world.

Here’s your chance to do the same! Sign up NOW, get your friends and family to sponsor you, and raise cash for War Child. It’s that simple.  You don’t have to be a busker to help us in our fundraising efforts.  Everyone is encouraged to sign up and start getting pledges, or search out your favourite participating artist and make a pledge on their personal page.
